          2011/2012 Faculty Adviser

          Dr. Tee Ford-Ahmed Tee Ford-Ahmed is a Professor in the Department of Communication/Media Studies and Outreach Liaison for International Programs at West Virginia State University (WVSU).  Her professional career focused on public relations and marketing activities for corporate and non-profit clients, political candidates, and radio-television network affiliates in the San Francisco Bay Area.   She earned a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Ohio University's School of Telecommunication, an MA in Speech Communication from New York University, and a BFA in Theater Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago

          Jessica Isner, is a Visiting Instructor at WV State University. Isner graduated from WV Wesleyan College with a B.A. in Public Relations. She went on to earn her M.A. in Corporate and Organizational Communication from West Virginia University. She has worked in coalition management and as a news reporter for WVVA in Beckley, WV. Isner is excited to be working with the PRSSA to put classroom principles into practice by creating effective campaigns for a variety of clients from across campus to across the globe.

          Todd Beane is aWest Virginia native. He graduated from West Virginia State University in 2000 with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Public Relations and an MBA from Marshall University in 2009. Todd started his career in nonprofit leadership and communications with a position as Director of Community Relations and Resource Development at Mountaineer Habitat for Humanity.  Over his two years there, he secured over $300,000 in grants and donations for their mission of eliminating substandard housing.  Currently, he is the Marketing Specialist for the Gus R. Douglass Land-Grant Institute of West VirginiaStateUniversity. He handles public relations for the Institute, including external affairs, media relations, coordinating events, photography, and social media outreach.
